Our Promise
Before we explain our methodology, here is our commitment to you: no bookmaker pays to be ranked higher on this site. Our affiliate relationships exist to fund our operations, not to influence our scores. The same rigorous testing process applies to every bookmaker, regardless of whether they have an affiliate relationship with us.
Every review is conducted by a member of our Nigeria-based team who personally signs up, deposits real money, places real bets, and withdraws real winnings. We do not accept press releases or marketing materials as a substitute for our own testing.
Our 8 Scoring Categories
We evaluate the welcome bonus amount, percentage, minimum deposit required, wagering requirements, bonus validity period, and the quality of ongoing promotions. We penalise sites with unreasonably high wagering requirements or unclear terms.
We compare odds across 500+ markets every week — EPL, La Liga, NPFL, Champions League, NBA, and more. We calculate each bookmaker's average margin (overround) and score them accordingly. Lower margins mean better value for bettors.
We test actual deposits and withdrawals using Nigerian payment methods — GTB, Access Bank, First Bank, OPay, Palmpay, Moniepoint, and USSD. We measure how long withdrawals actually take, not just what the site claims. Minimum and maximum limits are documented.
We install and use every mobile app on both Android and iOS where available. We test on both WiFi and mobile data (3G/4G) and score for speed, stability, ease of navigation, feature parity with the desktop site, and performance on lower-end devices common in Nigeria.
We count the number of sports covered, the number of markets per match, and specifically evaluate coverage of Nigerian-relevant sports: NPFL, AFCON qualifiers, Super Eagles international matches, and Nigerian basketball.
We contact customer support via live chat, email, and phone — both during business hours and late at night. We measure response times and evaluate the quality and helpfulness of responses. We test with genuine questions about Nigerian-specific issues.
We verify licensing with the NLRC, Lagos State Lotteries Board, or recognised international regulators. We check SSL certificates, responsible gambling tools (deposit limits, self-exclusion), and data protection policies.
We research user feedback from Nigerian bettors across social media, forums, and complaint sites. We look for patterns of complaints about late payments, account closures, or unfair practices and factor these into our scores.
Review Update Frequency
We review and update our scores at minimum once per quarter. Bonuses are checked and updated weekly. If a major change happens at a bookmaker — a new app launch, change in withdrawal speeds, or new licensing — we update the relevant review immediately.
All reviews show a "Last Reviewed" date so you always know how current our information is. If you notice anything outdated, please contact us.
